Around 70 small cheese producers will be part of a line-up that is essentially a 'who's who' of British and Irish cheese with quite a few Spanish, French and Italian companies thrown in for good measure. Caws Cenarth from Wales, HJ Errington from Scotland and Ireland's Cooleeney will be there, along with must-meet makers from England including Cornish Blue, Cote Hill and Laverstoke. Talks, tutored tastings and a pop-up cheese restaurant are also in the pipeline.
La Cave à Fromage has two cheese shops - one in Kensington and one in Hove - plus they run the cheese room at Bistro du Vin in Soho, which you can read about here. The company's owners, Amnon Paldi and Eric Charriaux, also run cheese wholesaler Premier Cheese, which supplies restaurants such as Le Gavroche and Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons.
The market will take place from 9.30am-5.30pm in The Market Place in Old Beaconsfield, which is 20 minutes by train from Marylebone.
